The Get Fit Mobile unit will supply a range of fitness equipment to create a vibrant workout experience. This class will feature a fusion of bodyweight, strength, and cardio exercises. All fitness levels welcome! Please bring a mat or towel to class. 

In this workshop, dancers and movers of varying physical abilities will gather for movement and choreography that challenges their artistic process and dance skills. The workshop welcomes people with physical disabilities, including wheelchair users and amputees, who would like to explore adapted dance choreography.

Enchantment's music is soulful, smooth, romantic, and melodious with lyrics that are loving, and understanding. The golden sound of Enchantment was formed in 1967 at Pershing High School in Detroit. In 1976, the charismatic showmen received national acclaim with the release of their second single "Gloria." Written and arranged by dynamic lead singer E.J. Johnson, "Gloria" became a smash hit. They followed it up with another smash hit, "Sunshine," from the same album. They recorded their second album in 1977 and came up with their third consecutive number one single, "It's You That I Need," which reigned at #1 for four weeks. They continued their hit making ways with top ten singles "If You're Ready (Here It Comes)," "Where Do We Go From Here," "Forever More," "Enchanted Lady," and many more. Enchantment's longevity is attributed to their vitality and the dedication they have for their craft. The group continues to impressively demonstrate their quality golden sound at concerts and events around the country.

Lets celebrate some of Prince Georges Countys best artists! This years event will showcase the talent of Black/Brown teen artists, highlight the importance of black art, and underscore the importance of art within entrepreneurial spaces. Bid on your favorite works in a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit featured artists and provide free art workshops for youth.

Military Program: Join the Riversdale Kitchen Guild over the open hearth as they highlight recipes that military members were eating in the 19th century.

Join us for the Prince George’s County Qualifier for the MARPSA State Track Meet. Running events include 50M Dash, 800M Run, 100M Dash, 400M Run, 1600M Run, 200M Dash, and 4x100M Relay. Field events include Standing Long Jump, Softball Throw, and Javelin Throw. A maximum of three (3) events per participant. Check-In at 5 pm. Events start at 5:30 pm.

This evening is certainly going to get your toes tapping, showcasing the world-renowned tap dancer Baakari Wilder performing with some of the finest musicians in the DMV area. Wilder has made guest appearances at the Kennedy Center since the age of 12. He starred in the Broadway musical Bring in Da Noise Bring In Da Funk, where he received a Bessie Award for originating the role of "Uncle Huck-a-Buck." He has performed all over the world in places such as Japan, Africa, Germany, France, and Russia. In 2014 he received the Pola Nireńska Award for dance, and the 2021 Hoofer Award from the American Tap Dance Foundation.

Lunchtime Lecture Series: Queer History at Historic Sites. June is Pride Month. Join Dr. Matt Champagne who will discuss how queer history is represented at historic sites and museums and will offer insights on how to best interpret the queer past. Champagne will focus on historical figures who lived before terms like 'gay' or 'transgender' became popular. The lives of famous people like Louisa May Alcott and Ma Rainey provoke serious questions about how to appropriately discuss the queer past because of the rumors that surround them.
