The Winter Festival of Lights will shine bright this holiday season with 3 miles of drive-through whimsical lights! Experience dazzling scenes that celebrate the magic of the holiday season from the comfort of your own car. For your safety and the safety of our staff, please purchase tickets online at pgparksdirect.com. Save Time! Save Money! Buy Online! Cars pay $15 with online purchases or $20 admission at the gate. Face coverings are required if interacting with personnel. To avoid longer than usual wait times, we encourage the public to attend the Festival on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings. On Saturdays and Sundays, please arrive before 6 pm. A car may only hold 1 to 6 passengers.

Customers will be directed to enter the park from Route 202 Largo Road this year.

Embrace the joy of the season by joining us at our annual December family event! Get into the holiday spirit with your community, neighbors, and friends at the Publick Playhouse. Children will have a chance to visit and take pictures with a special someone from the North Pole. We'll also have coloring activities and a short, animated movie to entertain our youngest guests before showing our feature film, "The Polar Express." This event is recommended for children ages 3-12. Please note everyone must have a ticket to enter, regardless of age.

Join us during the holiday season and experiene the thrill of our annual Trains and Planes program. Meet and greet train hobbyists, and go back in time experiencing the sights and sounds of their train displays.

Santa is coming to Glassmanor Community Center! Kids ages 6-12 are invited to have breakfast, receive a gift, and take photos with Santa!

Celebrate winter with crafts and your community! Chat with new friends while creating winter decorations and enjoying a snack. Craft supplies and a small snack will be provided, but you're also welcome to bring your own! (Note: Staff will provide enough supplies for three crafts per person. Please make sure any snacks you bring are nut-free.) All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

Are you musically curious? Musicians and those who are interested in listening are invited to BAE's monthly Curiosity Jam! We welcome singers and instrumentalists from any culture in the world. Our goal is to share music and encourage cross-cultural collaboration. World music band Kundalika is the house backing band, with sitar-guitar, acoustic guitar, upright bass and djembe on hand. In addition to "open mic" time, each monthly jam will also feature a special segment, the world music group jam. We will teach folks how to play the basic outline of an Indian classical music scale on their own instrument (or sing it vocally). Then we'll lay down a groove and do a jam will all the musicians there playing together! No knowledge of Indian music required; we will have handouts in Western notation.

M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County is celebrating 50 years of Disability Services providing county residents and visitors with disabilities the opportunity to participate in community recreation programs of their choice.
