Take the shot! You have everything to gain through our camp where professional staff will teach boys and girls basketball fundamentals including conditioning, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and strategies. The camp places an emphasis on the balanced relationship between academics and athletics. Campers will gain the skills and self-confidence to make every shot count. Beat the clock and sign up today!
The campers will be taught the basic techniques of shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and defense.
The camp will not only provide a fundamental base for each young player, but will also be a fun and enjoyable experience for every camper.

We would like to thank you all for choosing Southern Area Aquatics and Recreation Complex for summer camp. In addition to the questionnaire, you filled out there is additional documentation needed for your child before the first day. Please see details below regarding each form needed if applicable and additional camp information. These documents will be handed out and emailed to you as well. When filling out documents please bring a copy with you to the first day of camp.

Camp information
Lunch and snack are not provided by the complex. All campers must bring lunch. Please note campers will not have access to a microwave. It is suggested to pack an extra snack for the end of the day. The complex does have a café where lunch and snacks can be purchased. The café does not accept cash. Campers can either use a card or money can be placed on a parks direct account and a rec card can be used to purchased items from the café.
The camp day is 9am through 4:30pm. There is a before care 7am-9am option provided for an additional cost for the week as well as an after -care 4:30pm 6pm option provided for an additional cost.
Sign in for this camp session will take place at the tables outside of the basketball gym.
Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day to fill out any additional paperwork that may be required for camp. All paperwork must be filled out correctly on the first day for your child to attend camp due to our policy and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your camper.
Also please note closed toed shoes are required every day for camp. Sandals and crocs are not allowed.
Label all your child’s belongings with their full name.
Do not allow your child to bring any toys or electronics, including cell phones and handheld devices to camp.
Review our Code of Conduct, located in the Parent Handbook, with your child online. All camps are Bully Free Zones.
Please note there will be a late fee of $10 added every 15 minutes after scheduled pick up for the camp day as well as after care. The first fee is added at 4:45 PM for the end of the camp day and 6:15 PM for after care. The late fee reoccurs every additional 15 minutes.
