Get ready for pool season with a refresher class on water safety and beginning swimming skills! Safety instruction will include pool rules, the role of the lifeguards, and more. Beginning swimming instruction will cover submerging in water, floating, and introduction of arm and leg motions. Students will learn drills and skills they can practice to master swimming this summer!
NOTE: This is a self-directed program designed for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. No direct supervision or personal care is provided. Each registrant who is not fully independent will need a companion/staff/family member to accompany them. Companions do not need to register.
